Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Lighthouse, Poole A mixture of a Jeffrey Archer story and Leslie "Dirty Den" Grantham playing a High Court Judge. Just for the sheer "car crash" fascination of the thing, this latest tour of Archer's first play Beyond Reasonable Doubt has to be worth checking out. Having been killed off for a second time from his famous TV role in EastEnders Grantham has clearly decided to show the hitherto unimagined breadth of his acting skills by playing distinguished QC Sir David Metcalf in this courtroom drama, which also stars Simon Ward and Alexandra Bastedo, Opens on Tuesday (May 3) and runs until Saturday May 7.
