YOUNGSTERS on Portland got a Christmas treat when Santa popped in to Grove Infant School.
Carrying gifts galore, Father Christmas visited the school's festive fair, which raised hundreds of pounds for school funds.
The fair was run by the Friends of Grove School (FROGS) and nearly £300 was collected from the event.
Headteacher Jane Hurdiss said: "The fair was a great success.
"We had stalls selling things that the children had made as well as raffles and a tombola.
"And a parent also donated a solid mahogany stool for auction, which raised £33 and will go towards our garden fund."
She added: "We are a small school so I am amazed we raised so much money.
"But that is a reflection on the strong support that we receive from the community."
